The Maine Course is conducting an open application period to recruit new Maine Course Advisory Committee members to serve on this committee for one to three years. We are specifically looking for an organic farmer, a dairy farmer and a policy/research expert on on local food systems to join.

The Maine Course is conducting an open application period to recruit new Maine Course Advisory Committee members to serve on this committee for one to three years. We are specifically looking for an organic farmers, a dairy farmers and a policy/research expert on local food systems to join. Serving on the Committee is an opportunity to advise an institutional food service provider on how to have a positive economic impact on the state of Maine's food system and economy through purchasing Maine food., The initiative is in it's 3rd year no so we are continuing to grow and expand our goals & strategies as a new program. 

We hold an open application process as we believe in transparency and would like to encourage people far and wide within the Maine food system to apply if they are interested in being a member of this Committee. Application Process:

  • Open application period August 17th- September 14th
  • Online Application Link
    • It's a short application that should only take 10 minutes
  • Once the open application period closes the Maine Course Leadership team will review all applications and then communicate out to all applicants about our final decision.
